4 years after the release of Meeting, Greg Lamy and his quartet are back with a new album, “Press Enter”. More than an album marked by the bold modernism of the tracks Control Swift, Erase, Exit and Press Enter, the nine original compositions are more than anything else an invitation to travel.

Greg Lamy’s pure and refreshing guitar sound pairs various melodic climates with an exceptionally fluid game. A musician with a bright future’ (Lionel Loueke). Lamy has graced the stage of many clubs and festivals in Europe and New York, among them 55 Bar in Greenwich Village, the Knitting Factory and the Winter Jazz Festival. Often invited to play as a guest in other musical formations, Lamy also dedicates time to his quartet with saxophonist Johannes Müller, drummer Jean-Marc Robin and bassist Gautier Laurent. The quartet which was founded in 2007 and is signed with Igloo Records has produced two albums together I see you (2009) and Meeting (2013/2014). Characterized by an alchemical osmosis, the Greg Lamy quartet is an accomplished ensemble, inspiring and ambitious, harmonious and pluralistic and always driven by the pleasure of playing together.
