Sax and clarinet player Hal McKusick is accompanied by guitarist Barry Galbraith, bassist Milt Hinton and drummer Osie Johnson on this 1955 album that comprised volume eight in producer Creed Taylor’s East Coast Jazz series. Most of the tunes on this album are originals contributed by the album’s arranger Manny Albam.
